Art On Paper 2016

On the heels of a boomingly successful inaugural fair in 2015, one that saw over 20,000 visitors, Art on Paper returns to Manhattan's Lower East Side in March 2016. This fair is put on by Art Market productions, A Brooklyn-based company that focuses on the production and planning of large-scale, industry-leading art fairs around the United States. Art on Paper, as the name suggests, focuses on (you guessed it!) paper, a medium-driven focus that has allowed the fair to stand out among so many others, as well as to catch the interests of a high number of significant artists, collectors and critics

Tally Beck Contemporary is an art consultancy group and gallery based in New York, focusing on contemporary Asian art. Founded in 2010, Tally Beck has had regular exhibitions featuring artwork from East and South East Asia. Over the years, they have had a strong presence at international art fairs, such as Art Market San Francisco, Art Market Hamptons, LA Art Show, SCOPE Basel, and this year at Art on Paper. As an innovative Asian art collective, Liu Dao has had a long-standing partnership with Tally, one that is continued and championed at Art On Paper 2016.

island6 art collective (Liu Dao 六岛) and many more

The Liu Dao collective decided on a double-dip of exhibiting during 2016’s Armory art week. Running simultaneously as SCOPE New York, Art On Paper shows the best, and most exciting contemporary art, which uses paper as one of its primary mediums. As part of Tally Beck Contemporary’s booth, a number of Liu Dao artworks were on display that mixed the collective’s signature Chinese paper cutting with LED. (read more >>>)
